Château le Juge les Mingets Sauternes 75cl

Château le Juge les Mingets belongs to the tradition of the Bordeaux vineyards. The Sauternes appellation, south of Bordeaux, is recognised the world over for its sweet wines made from botrytis, the noble rot that concentrates the sugars within the berry. This Sauternes carries on that style: careful selection of the berries, attentive winemaking and patient ageing.

The aromatic profile brings together the notes characteristic of Sauternes: honeyed (acacia, orange blossom), candied fruit, citrus, apricot, a light minerality. The balance between acidity and sugar is the signature of the wine: the silky texture and precise finish make it a refined sweet wine that never saturates the palate.

The classic Sauternes pairing is with foie gras: the sugar of the wine balances the richness of the foie gras, its acidity cleanses the palate between mouthfuls. It is the traditional pairing at the great French tables, particularly for festive meals. Beyond foie gras, it also accompanies blue cheeses (Roquefort, Stilton) and certain fruit desserts.

Caviar House : 125 g

Finest Caviar Beluga is one of the most iconic caviars in our range. A true benchmark far beyond gastronomy; it even appears in the James Bond films. It is harvested from the Huso Huso sturgeon, one of the largest and most ancient fish in the world. This fish can reach up to five metres in length and weigh up to a tonne. Its remarkably generous pearls take on a pale grey, almost pearly hue. Its very creamy texture then reveals delicate buttery notes and a touch of hazelnut on the finish. Between power and delicacy, this aromatic density marks the unique character of Beluga. Tasting the caviar on its own, with a mother-of-pearl spoon or "a la royale" on the palm of the hand, remains the finest way to appreciate its full aromatic richness. To extend the experience, champagne reveals the most subtle notes of Beluga, like a flavour enhancer; served ice-cold, Beluga vodka also makes a historic pairing.
